Freddie H. Davis is the CEO of Global Shippers Association. He has 32 years of experience in the home furnishings industry. He and his wife, Teresa, founded Global Shippers Association and have built it into one of the most successful shippers associations in the home furnishings industry. In September 2015, they merged GSA with IMC Global Soutions and IMC Corporation.
Davis spent 13 years with Bernhardt Furniture, managing logistics operations during the company’s fastest growth period. Previously he was with MGM, Old Dominion and Anderson Truck Lines. He and Teresa were hired by Anderson Truck Lines the same week for their first jobs in the industry, and that is how they first met.
Davis, an alumnus and former athlete of Appalachian State University, and now serves on an Advisory Board that he school’s Walker College of Business. He has a passion for the Supply Chain program which he has helped to grow into a minor, major and Master’s program at the school.

Davis is well respected across the United States and Canada among retailers, manufacturers and importers. He and Teresa have been married and in the industry for 32 years and reside in Lenoir, N.C.
