Mark Fierek joined Manna Freight Systems in 1998 as a Regional Sales Manager in Detroit, Mich., eventually adding the Chicago and Newark markets. Fierek was relocated to the corporate offices and promoted to General Manager of the Manna Distribution Services and Centrek Distribution brands in 2008. In 2013, he accepted the same position for the newly created Orion Air Ride brand.
In June 2016, Fierek accepted his current position as Vice President of Sales for Manna Freight Systems. Manna Freight Systems specializes in the home delivery of large consumer goods with furniture being a significant contributor to the mix of commodities.
Fierek was recently elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Specialized Furniture Carriers – a division of the AHFA. Before his appointment to Chairman, he served as First Vice President.
Fierek’s experience spans 34 years in the logistics and transportation industries – his first nine in LTL and TL sectors, ten years in air freight and the remainder in home delivery. He has held several positions, including National Account Manager, Terminal Manager and Director of Logistics for Fortune 500 companies. He currently resides in Hastings, Minn. with his wife, Heidi.
