Stan Froneberger started with SunBelt Xpress in 2007 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing before taking on the Vice President and General Manager role in 2014. He has corporate oversight of operations, sales, cost elements, direction and long range planning for the company and their operating service centers in Hickory, N.C.; Greensboro, N.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; Dallas, Tex.; Fontana, Calif.; and Fife, Wash.
SunBelt is an asset-based provider of LTL and TL transportation offerings in 36 states and two Canadian provinces. The company operates 215 company-owned power units and 809 trailers along with 119 independent contract drivers. SunBelt Xpress celebrated its 52nd anniversary of serving the home furnishings industry in 2017.
Prior to joining SunBelt, Froneberger held various leadership positions with Averitt Express and has been part of the supply chain industry for the past 28 years. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University and resides in Hickory, N.C. with his wife. He has two daughters who attend the University of South Carolina.
